Moisa Saidu is Co-Founder of the Jumuiya Foundation and a
senior international development leader with over 18 years of
experience designing and delivering high-impact programs across
Africa, Asia, Europe, and the United States. He brings deep
expertise in strategic planning, donor and grant management,
program design, and participatory monitoring and evaluation.
Moisa has successfully led and supported initiatives in youth
employment, education, informal economies, peacebuilding,
and human rights, managing and contributing to projects funded by DFID, the World Bank,
UNDP, the European Union, DANIDA, and USAID.
Moisa has a strong record of working with donors, governments, and civil society partners to
translate funding into measurable outcomes while strengthening local institutions and
systems. His leadership emphasizes accountability, learning, and sustainability, ensuring
programs remain responsive to community needs and aligned with donor priorities.
Previously, he coordinated the Africa Human Rights Education Project at Amnesty
International, working with educators and activists across sub-Saharan Africa and Europe to
strengthen civic education and civil society capacity. As the founder of Workshop for Africa
(W4A), he continues to develop scalable tools and training models that expand economic
and educational opportunities for youth, particularly those working in the informal economy.
