Irene Oroma is Co-Founder of Foundation. She is an education specialist and a language (TESOL) expert with over 20 years working across Sub-Saharan Africa. Irene translates knowledge and deep experience from academia and CSOs into high impact initiatives and scalable solutions using contextualized approaches to develop communities and improve learning outcomes.
She is skilled in strengthening systems, navigating diverse perspectives, adapting learnings, and forging strategic partnerships. Her programme strategy skills transcend global education, development and humanitarian organisations and partners, governments, and indigenous impact institutions and initiatives for systemic change.
Ms. Oroma is passionate about life skills, values and rights-based education driven by traditional knowledge systems and modern educational reforms, policies and practices. Her rich background in education, skills and passion contributes to initiatives designed for marginalised groups, women, and refugees in diverse settings. In 2025, she led and implemented ALiVE Programme Pilot for nurturing life skills and values among children aged 6-12 years in Uganda using the whole school approach. The Pilot attracted diverse stakeholders, drawing numerous impact stories and scalable learnings.
